Commencing with the physical properties that render Yellow uniquely provocative amongst colors, the text recounts the historical uses and associations that have defined it to date. Though recognized for its utility , yellow is generally disliked. The causes and effects of these near universal reactions are explored towards the proposal of an informed aesthetic. A video accompanies the paper in which one moves along Broadways in Manhattan, Los Angeles, Oakland, etc... collecting Yellow like pollen.

By happy accident Morndian’s Broadway boogie woogie thesis is confirmed. Above a virtual drive down Broadway in Los Angeles reveals Yellow in situ. When the video disappaers into Panatone Yellow C it then plays in reverse backing down Broadway in manhattan as the Yellow delaminates.
